Lerch Bates To Provide Maintenance Management Services For Retailer Forever 21

Three-Year Contract Includes 144 Stores in the United States and Puerto Rico

Los Angeles-based fashion retailer Forever 21 has selected Lerch Bates to provide elevator and escalator management services for 144 stores located throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Lerch Bates, an international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and materials management, has designed a custom maintenance management program for Forever 21 that includes 168 elevators and 238 escalators. The three-year contract includes the evaluation of all service contracts with elevator and escalator repair companies, managing the rebidding process for new service contracts, selecting new elevator and escalator service providers and reviewing all service invoices to ensure accuracy. Lerch Bates also will perform on-site surveys and equipment analysis, maintenance audits of the systems, compilation of statistical analysis reports, reviews of maintenance findings and development strategies for the systems.

Lerch Bates announced in March that it had been selected by Hilton Worldwide, Inc. to provide elevator and escalator maintenance management services for the company’s Hilton portfolio in the United States. The firm designed a custom maintenance management program to support and improve the ongoing maintenance and repair of Hilton’s elevators and escalators. The Hilton owned, managed and franchised properties participating in the program exceeds 4,300 elevators and escalators in more than 1,400 hotels across the country.

Crawford Oversees Projects and Business Relationships with Strategically Assigned Accounts

CrawfordDanaLerch Bates announced Dana Crawford has joined the international consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and materials management as senior project manager, strategic accounts group. Crawford is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in sales management, staff leadership and strategic business planning.

Crawford oversees strategic account relationships as well as develops new strategic account clients in her new role with Lerch Bates. She has been in the elevator industry for 16 years and served as a sales manager and executive account manager at Otis Elevator Company for 13 years in the greater Los Angeles market. She designed tactical programs and initiatives to grow all facets of the company’s service business including repairs, modernizations, retention and acquiring new business. She also spent time working with KONE and Arizona Elevator Company giving her broad knowledge in the elevator industry.

Crawford earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. She also is a certified Co-Active Coach® from Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and a Master Graduate of Rapport Leadership International.

Lerch Bates Promotes Mark Hall to SR. Project Manager, Strategic Accounts

Hall Joined International Consulting Firm in 2012 as a Project Manager

Mark HallLerch Bates announced Mark Hall has been promoted to sr. project manager, strategic accounts. He previously served as a project manager for the Lerch Bates Atlanta regional office.

Hall will now oversee projects and business relationships with strategically assigned accounts as well as develop and manage relationships with new strategic account clients. As a former project manager for the Atlanta office, Hall conducted maintenance evaluations, modernization services and vertical transportation analysis and design. He executed business development strategies through prospect identification, cross-selling to existing accounts and networking within national and regional professional associations.

Prior to joining Lerch Bates in 2012, Hall served as in various sales and management positions within the vertical transportation industry. He previously worked as a new equipment sales manager and regional sales manager for Otis Elevator Company and as a senior account representative and then as a service sales manager for KONE.

Hall earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science with a minor in international affairs from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
