Lerch Bates Appoints Melanie Maass Consultant, Elevator Consulting Group

Joins Global Firm with More Than 17 Years of Experience in Vertical Transportation Industry

Lerch Bates announced that vertical transportation industry leader Melanie Maass has been named consultant, elevator consulting group, in its Los Angeles, Calif., office. She joins the world’s oldest and largest consulting firm for vertical transportation, façade access and logistics with more than 17 years of valuable experience in the elevator and escalator industry.

Melanie is tasked with managing vertical transportation studies, perform maintenance evaluations, designs and overseeing construction services for vertical transportation equipment as Lerch Bates continues to steadily grow its market share in Southern California. She previously served as a senior service account manager, service sales manager and modernization manager for Otis Elevator Company in the Bay Area and greater Los Angeles/Orange County markets. She designed data driven methods to increase company profits, provided training and development services and supported the company’s service, new equipment and modernization business. During her tenure as a modernization manager, Maass performed all surveys, ordering and project management in an effort to provide exceptional customer service, quality and on-time delivery.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Business from San Francisco State University, Master of Arts in Humanities and Leadership from New College of California and a PsyD in Organization Development from California School of Professional Psychology.
